Mazda Mazda6 finance calculator Not a lender. Not a broker. Mazda6 and Atenza are the same car under two badges, and together they account for more than 45,000 vehicles on the Carjam fleet register. Atenza was the Japanese-market name until Mazda retired it in 2019 in favour of the global number, so the used market here carries both and lenders treat them as one asset. It is the large car people buy when they want a wagon rather than an SUV, and the wagon body is a much bigger share of the New Zealand parc than it is of the sedan-led markets Mazda designed it for.

Financing notes
At $14,000 over four years at 8% indicative, the weekly repayment sits near $78. Indicative NZ used-market trends have put large cars below equivalent SUVs on resale for several years now, because the buyer pool on resale is smaller, and that is what makes a deposit do more work here than it would on a CX-5 at the same money.
Model-specific questions
Yes. Atenza was the Japanese-market name until 2019, when Mazda moved its home market onto the same numbers it uses everywhere else. The mechanicals and parts are identical, so lenders assess the two interchangeably once entry compliance is certified on an import.
Indicative NZ used-market trends put it below, and the reason is the body rather than the car: fewer buyers shop for a large sedan or wagon than for a mid-size SUV. On a longer term that gap is what can leave the balance above the vehicle's value partway through, which a deposit reduces.
A $14,000 2015 wagon over four years at 8% indicative runs at roughly $78 a week, and a $24,000 2019 example over five years at about $116. The calculator above shows what changing the deposit does to both.
Slightly, and for the usual import reasons. A verified odometer and an entry-compliance record are what a lender wants, and where those are thin the response is generally a shorter term rather than a decline. The mechanical package is identical either way.

Disclaimer
A car loan runs for years, and the repayment comes out of the same pay that covers everything else. This site exists to show you that weekly number before you sign anything. The payment that catches people out is the one that's fine on a good week and tight on a bad one.
Carfinance.org.nz receives a commission from Simplify when a visitor applies through this site and their application is approved. We refer every visitor to the same partner because they compare multiple New Zealand lenders on the applicant's behalf, so the referral is not driven by a sponsored deal. Simplify sets its own terms and fees and discloses them directly; anything you agree to happens on their side, not ours. Every figure shown on this site is a modelled estimate based on the inputs entered; the actual rate, fees, and repayments are set by the lender after assessing the applicant's circumstances and its own credit decision. Carfinance.org.nz is a calculator and information tool. We are not a lender, not a broker, and not a registered financial adviser. Any decision about whether a specific loan suits a specific situation is best made after talking with the lender, and for amounts that materially affect the household, with a registered financial adviser.
