Mazda MPV finance calculator Not a lender. Not a broker. The Mazda MPV is the larger sibling to the Premacy, and there are more than 11,000 in New Zealand despite it never being a mainstream part of Mazda New Zealand's new range. It sits between the Premacy and a full van on size, with a more conventional wagon-like drive than the Estima it competes against on the used market. Because production ended in 2016 and most of the local parc predates that, MPV finance is almost always a small loan over a short term with the vehicle's age setting the limit.

Financing notes
At $7,500 over three years at 8% indicative, the weekly repayment sits near $56. Some lenders set a minimum advance near this figure, so a very cheap example is occasionally better served by a personal loan than a secured car loan. The vehicle's age at the end of the term is the usual constraint on how long a lender will write.
Model-specific questions
They are financed the same way; the difference is size and price. The MPV is the larger of the two with a more conventional boot behind the third row, and it typically costs a little more for a comparable year. Both are import-sourced here, so both applications turn on the same paperwork.
A $7,500 example over three years at 8% indicative works out at about $56 a week. The calculator above shows what a four-year term does to both the weekly figure and the total interest, which on a loan this size is the whole of the decision.
Often it is close to the limit rather than past it. Most lenders cap vehicle age at the end of the term, so a 2010 MPV is financeable over three years where five would not be approved. That constraint decides the term far more often than the amount borrowed does.
Mechanically it shares components with other Mazdas of the period, so routine servicing is straightforward. Some body and trim parts can take longer to source because the model was not sold here new in volume, and a vehicle waiting on a part still carries its repayment.

Disclaimer
A car loan runs for years, and the repayment comes out of the same pay that covers everything else. This site exists to show you that weekly number before you sign anything. The payment that catches people out is the one that's fine on a good week and tight on a bad one.
Carfinance.org.nz receives a commission from Simplify when a visitor applies through this site and their application is approved. We refer every visitor to the same partner because they compare multiple New Zealand lenders on the applicant's behalf, so the referral is not driven by a sponsored deal. Simplify sets its own terms and fees and discloses them directly; anything you agree to happens on their side, not ours. Every figure shown on this site is a modelled estimate based on the inputs entered; the actual rate, fees, and repayments are set by the lender after assessing the applicant's circumstances and its own credit decision. Carfinance.org.nz is a calculator and information tool. We are not a lender, not a broker, and not a registered financial adviser. Any decision about whether a specific loan suits a specific situation is best made after talking with the lender, and for amounts that materially affect the household, with a registered financial adviser.
