Toyota Avensis finance calculator Not a lender. Not a broker. The Avensis is Toyota's European-built mid-size sedan and wagon, and there are more than 8,000 on New Zealand roads. It sits in the segment that the Camry occupies from the other direction, with a more European ride and, in wagon form, a bigger boot than most buyers expect. The parc here mixes cars sold new locally with Japanese and British imports, so the provenance question comes up more often than it does on a Camry. As with every large car on this site, resale is where the segment is soft.

Financing notes
At $9,500 over four years at 8% indicative, the weekly repayment sits near $53. Indicative NZ used-market trends have put large cars below equivalent SUVs on resale for several years, because the buyer pool on resale is smaller, and a deposit does more work here than it would on a RAV4 at the same money.
Model-specific questions
Yes, alongside a meaningful volume of imports, which is why the local parc mixes cars with a full New Zealand service record and others with a Japanese or British history. That difference shows up in the term a lender offers more than in the decision itself.
They sit in the same segment from different directions. The Avensis is European-built with a firmer ride and a larger wagon body, while the Camry is the hybrid-led volume seller here with a deeper local parts and service network. Both are financed the same way, and the Camry has its own page on this site.
A $9,500 2012 wagon over four years at 8% indicative works out at about $53 a week, and a $15,000 2016 example over the same term at roughly $84. The calculator above shows what a deposit changes on each.
Less than the description suggests. Many mechanical components are shared across Toyota's global range, so routine servicing is straightforward here. Some body and trim parts specific to the European build can take longer to source, and a car waiting on a part still carries its repayment.

Disclaimer
A car loan runs for years, and the repayment comes out of the same pay that covers everything else. This site exists to show you that weekly number before you sign anything. The payment that catches people out is the one that's fine on a good week and tight on a bad one.
Carfinance.org.nz receives a commission from Simplify when a visitor applies through this site and their application is approved. We refer every visitor to the same partner because they compare multiple New Zealand lenders on the applicant's behalf, so the referral is not driven by a sponsored deal. Simplify sets its own terms and fees and discloses them directly; anything you agree to happens on their side, not ours. Every figure shown on this site is a modelled estimate based on the inputs entered; the actual rate, fees, and repayments are set by the lender after assessing the applicant's circumstances and its own credit decision. Carfinance.org.nz is a calculator and information tool. We are not a lender, not a broker, and not a registered financial adviser. Any decision about whether a specific loan suits a specific situation is best made after talking with the lender, and for amounts that materially affect the household, with a registered financial adviser.
